tummy time

Tummy time is the work of the newborn baby. If they don't do tummy time then they may never be strong enough to turn over, sit up, walk, start tearing up your house, get into the garbage, put quarters in their mouths, stuff socks in the dvd player...you get the idea. It's really important.

new media

Tia has been experimenting with some new media. These are new pieces called some crazy name that she made up but I forgot. I love them. They are finger paint and foam flower sticker.

Also, Wiley came over and her and Tia painted a mural. It turned out GORGEOUS! And, they hardly got any paint on the wall & carpet.

The library: For Grandma Bebe

One of my favorite memories from my childhood is going to the library with my mom. Even now, I still love talking to my mom about books. I think this helped me turn into the person I am today and I am very grateful.
Now, every Wednesday, Tia and I go to the library to get new books.
This is our special time together: just us girls!


We are going to read 100 books together! I hope we read thousands of books together. Here is our chart that we keep in the kitchen. Every time we read a new book, we write it down. We're getting close. Some of our favorites library books are Olivia Saves the Circus and We all went on Safari.

Tia's job is to put the books in the return slot when we bring them back (hopefully on time).
