Just us chickens...

As if things were not crazy enough, Dad had to take a trip to India this week. This is a picture he took w/ his cell phone.


I did my best to keep these two busy. Not a small task. Believe me.



Mostly, Teddy slept.

And slept.

We redecorated the back porch and got a dustbuster so we don't have to worry about sand all over the place.

Then Tia took a bubble bath to get all of the sand out of her hair. And her pants.

Tia got invited to a princess birthday party,

and hung out with her girlfriend, Brianna.

She read her books about India,

and picked out songs to make a new CD,

and shook her booty in her new Elton John glasses.



We managed, but we miss you, Dad. Glad you're on your way home! XOXOXOX

The story of Monday (told in no particular order)

On Monday, the birthday package that Grandma Jean sent arrived. There was LOTS of great stuff in it- as you can see.

It was raining on Monday. But we decided to go get the package and enjoy some rainy weather. This gave us a chance to try out the new stroller - scooter. It's pretty cool.

Rain means snails, or peeps, as we like to call them. We saw some really big, juicy, gross peeps on this walk.

That's it. We would have more to talk about, but baby brother decided it was time to go home. And when baby brother decided it's time to go home- it's time to go home.

The story of Tia's birthday (told backwards)

On Valentine's Day we celebrated Tia's birthday with a small cupcake party! We felt so fortunate to be able to fill our house with friends and love for baby girl even though our loved ones and family are so far away and even across oceans!

We had three different kinds of cupcake. Each kind was yummy!

Tia's birthday was on Friday the 13th this year. Sspooookyyy... (not really)

When Tia woke up on her birthday she got a new bike and a new big wheel! Plus, she got a really cool fruit bouquet from Grandma Jean!
